Job Summary:
The Business Analyst will support the Regional Head of Operations in planning and executing operational business strategies across properties in the Middle East, Europe, India, and Americas (MEIA) region. This role is focused on providing data-driven insights, improving performance metrics, and supporting senior leadership with strategic decision-making.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze revenue management metrics, including market share, pricing effectiveness, booking pace, segmentation, and market trends.
  • Monitor and measure financial performance for the region and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports for senior leadership.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis using data from systems such as IDEAS, TM1, and Blueprint, identifying trends and variances from expected results.
  • Partner with hotel leadership to pinpoint performance gaps and present improvement opportunities to senior management.
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, economic indicators, and competitor performance to enhance decision-making.
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to ensure timely, accurate data analysis.
  • Assist in evaluating business processes and suggest improvements based on data analysis.
  • Support senior leadership in making data-driven decisions by generating reports, presentations, and recommendations.
  • Assist in solving problems by analyzing information and selecting the best solutions.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis or a similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Experience in at least one of the following: statistical analysis software, business intelligence and reporting software, or data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI preferred.

 

Level of Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline.

Work Hours:
Full-time, standard business hours with occasional overtime as required.

Experience in Months:
24+ months (2+ years) of relevant work experience in business analysis or a related field.
