Job Summary:
The Front Office Agent at Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, will be the welcoming face of the hotel, responsible for ensuring guests have a seamless check-in and check-out experience. This role requires a warm personality, a focus on guest satisfaction, and the ability to handle various front office tasks efficiently while maintaining high service standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a positive first impression upon arrival.
  • Perform check-in and check-out processes efficiently, adhering to hotel standards.
  • Handle cashiering functions, including processing payments and balancing transactions.
  • Assist guests with luggage handling and transportation arrangements when necessary.
  • Address guest inquiries, complaints, or requests, ensuring they are resolved quickly and professionally.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation options.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all guest materials are updated and presentable.
  • Upsell hotel services and amenities to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
  • Assist in managing guest room keys, security protocols, and hotel access control.
  • Monitor guest preferences and ensure special requests are fulfilled to personalize the guest experience.
  • Support colleagues and other departments during busy periods, contributing to smooth hotel operations.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 12 months of experience in front office, customer service, or hospitality roles, preferably in luxury hotels.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in spoken English; additional languages such as Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or German are an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, positive demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing excellent guest experiences.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle guest complaints professionally.
  • Familiarity with front office systems, property management software, and cashiering procedures.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a strong sense of teamwork.

 

Level of Education:
Higher Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.

Work Hours:
Full-time position, with shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:
12+ months of experience in a similar front office or guest services role.
