Job Summary:
We are currently looking for dynamic and self-motivated Laundry professionals to join our team as a Laundry Attendant. In this role, you will ensure that laundry services required by our guests are met promptly and with the highest possible standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to hotel policies and laundry department procedures to maintain service quality.
  • Operate laundry equipment efficiently and safely to achieve optimal results.
  • Manage the care and operation of flat irons and other pressing equipment.
  • Feed food and beverage linens to the flat iron, ensuring quality control during the process.
  • Fold bed sheets, towels, and other linens according to hotel standards for presentation and quality.
  • Assist with sorting, washing, and drying laundry as needed, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area to promote a safe working environment.
  • Stay informed about fire and safety procedures and strictly adhere to them at all times.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
  • Provide support in inventory management for laundry supplies and chemicals.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to laundry operations.

 

Requirements:

  • Vocational training in laundry operations or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a laundry attendant in a hotel or similar environment is required.
  • Good command of the English language is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Familiarity with laundry equipment and safety procedures is a must.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.

 

Level of Education:

  • Vocational training in laundry operations or a related field.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, including weekends and holidays as required.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
