Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and creative Head Bartender to join our team at En Fuego, Atlantis, The Palm. As Head Bartender, you will lead the bar team, craft signature beverages, and ensure the highest standards of service are delivered to our guests.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
  • Design and implement original beverage menus, incorporating creative and innovative drink concepts.
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless guest experiences and timely delivery of drinks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to meet operational needs.
  • Train and mentor junior bartenders and bar staff, providing guidance on drink preparation, customer service, and efficiency.
  • Handle guest inquiries and special requests, providing personalized recommendations when appropriate.
  • Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations by creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, sanitation, and safety standards, maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Upsell beverages and promotions to increase revenue and enhance the guest experience.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining establishment.
  • Proven expertise in mixology, with a strong understanding of beverage trends, ingredients, and preparation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to service.
  • Experience in inventory management, stock control, and ordering processes.
  • Certification in food safety and alcohol service standards is preferred.

 

Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or beverage management is an advantage.

Work Hours:
Full-time, flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:
24-36 months of experience in bartending, mixology, and bar management roles.
