Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the Gastronomy team at Atlantis, The Royal. In this role, you will assist in overseeing the efficient operation and profitability of the restaurant, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager and Bar Manager in daily operations, ensuring all activities align with the restaurant's goals.
  • Train, develop, and mentor team members to enhance service quality and performance.
  • Coordinate employee schedules to optimize staffing levels and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to standard operating procedures, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
  • Analyze financial reports to identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  • Foster a positive and engaging work environment to boost employee retention and morale.
  • Deliver outstanding guest service by resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Organize and participate in training sessions and team-building activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative practices to enhance the restaurant’s offerings.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
  • Previous international experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a hands-on approach to management.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is essential.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software is a plus.

 

Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.

 

Work Hours:
Full-time; must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

 

Experience in Months:
36+ months (3 years) of relevant experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
