Job Summary:
We are currently looking for dynamic and self-motivated Food & Beverage and Front Office professionals who are eager to advance their careers. As a Club Rotana Waitress, you will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all necessary tasks to service guests within the Club Rotana lounge according to the hotel’s performance standards.
  • Greet and seat customers, providing personalized and discreet service.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the food & beverage menu to assist and advise guests effectively.
  • Consistently monitor the quality of food & beverage being served and report any issues immediately.
  • Practice good customer relations and handle customer complaints or queries satisfactorily.
  • Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards in the Club Rotana, ensuring that all service equipment is properly cared for.
  • Prepare for all service activities before, during, and after service, including mise-en-place and mise-en-scène.
  • Ensure minimal wastage, breakage, and spoilage of food and beverage items.
  • Actively utilize upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with the Front Office team to ensure seamless service for guests arriving or departing from the lounge.
  • Attend regular training sessions to enhance service skills and product knowledge.
  • Assist in organizing events or special occasions held within the Club Rotana, ensuring all guest needs are met.

 

Requirements:

  • Ideally possess a diploma or degree in hospitality or vocational training in food & beverage with relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong command of English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
  • Excellent guest service skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations is preferred.
  • A positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar upscale or luxury establishment is a plus.
