Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a high level of hospitality and guest satisfaction. This role requires creativity in crafting drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards.
• Set up and maintain the bar, ensuring all equipment and glassware are clean and ready for service.
• Provide personalized recommendations for beverages, upselling when appropriate to enhance guest experience.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and place orders to avoid shortages during service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout all bar operations.
• Assist in maximizing revenue by promoting special drinks, events, and ensuring accurate billing.
• Manage guest interactions professionally and courteously, addressing special requests and resolving complaints efficiently.
• Create and suggest signature cocktails that reflect the current trends and guest preferences.
• Assist in training junior bartenders and support the wider F&B team as needed.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate daily records of bar sales.

Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in hospitality or vocational training in Food & Beverage.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in bar operations within a luxury hotel or upscale bar.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, liquors, and bar equipment.
• Excellent guest service skills with a positive and approachable attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and bar stock control.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when required.
