Job Summary:
Supervise kitchen operations, oversee food presentation, and ensure quality standards are met while assisting with food preparation and maintaining stock.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise cooks and kitchen staff, ensuring proper food presentation and portioning. Create decorative food displays and prepare special meals.
  • Monitor food quantity, inform service staff of menu specials, and ensure stock levels. Maintain kitchen logs for food safety.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating staff. Uphold company policies, ensure safety standards, and maintain a professional appearance. Perform various physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years.
  • License/Certification: None.
