Description

Job Summary:

Provide excellent beverage service by preparing and serving drinks, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring smooth operations. Assist management with staff training and uphold company policies and standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Answer guest questions about wine varieties, origins, and styles.
  • Check quality and quantity of stock, and requisition necessary supplies.
  • Perform liquor restocking and communicate last call at closing time.
  • Prepare and serve drinks using specified recipes and measuring systems.
  • Serve wine and champagne bottles as requested.
  • Handle cashier duties, including end-of-shift reports, resolving discrepancies, and securing bank deposits.
  • Secure and maintain liquor, beer, and wine storage areas.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth team operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees.
  • Follow safety and company policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and maintain professional appearance.
  • Ensure positive guest interactions and address service needs.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: None required.
  • License or Certification: None required.
