Job Summary:

Facilitate guest check-ins and address payment issues while ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist staff with expediting problem payments, such as credit card processing issues.
  • Follow up with guests regarding satisfaction and resolve guest-related issues.
  • Process guest check-ins, confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
  • Handle all payment types, including cash, checks, debit, and credit.
  • Set up accurate accounts for each guest upon check-in, accommodating special requests.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness for check-in.
  • Review shift logs and document pertinent information.
  • Count the cash bank at the beginning and end of the shift and balance receipts per accounting specifications.

 

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Skills: Ability to move and carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance; strong communication skills and attention to detail.
