Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for addressing guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the overall upkeep of the hotel's equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Carry out minor drywall, wood trim repairs, and painting.
- Manage maintenance inventory and requisition parts as needed.
- Operate and locate shut-off valves for equipment and utilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards, following company protocols.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Some experience in general maintenance and surface preparation.
- Driver’s License required.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds independently.
