Job Summary: With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Reservations Agent to join the One&Only The Palm Hotel in Dubai.

With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the resort’s success and your role goes beyond developing potential relationships where you will ensure to match the guest’s needs by promoting and selling the benefits and features of the hotel, whilst assisting guests with their reservations and requests. To receive and process reservations in a professional and efficient manner and to provide accurate commentary to all other departments.

Requirements:

Suitable candidate will be reporting directly to the Reservations Manager. He/She must be highly qualified and must have at least 1-2 years’ experience in an upscale luxury hospitality industry or five-star hotels. He/She must have reservations background with strong attention to details and analytical skills, must be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines with excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and/or another language. Computer literate including relevant software and experience in using a Opera system. Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize urgency, responsiveness, and immediacy.
• Anticipate and address guest needs with respect and politeness.
• Exceed guest expectations by going the extra mile.
• Accurately and efficiently process all reservations.
• Ensure all details, including payment, are recorded correctly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Stay informed about packages, tiers, specials, and promotions.
• Use guest preferences and comments to update relevant departments.
• Keep all administrative tasks updated consistently.
