Job Summary:

Requirements:

• Previous experience in stewarding or a related field.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
• Strong understanding of sanitation and safety regulations in food service environments.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Knowledge of inventory management and supply ordering processes.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Certification in food safety or sanitation is preferred.

 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the stewarding team for efficient kitchen and dining operations.
• Oversee cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and food prep areas.
• Train and motivate staff to uphold hygiene standards.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Enforce safety and health regulations.
• Conduct inspections to maintain cleanliness and identify improvements.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and workflow for efficiency.
• Handle administrative tasks, records, and budget management.
• Resolve team issues and escalate when needed.
