Job Summary: We are currently recruiting for a full time Commis Chef to join our enthusiastic team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina.
As a Commis you are responsible to assist the Senior Chef on duty for the daily food preparation and duties assigned to meet the set standard and qualities while adhering to Hotel policies and procedures
Requirements:
Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 1- 2 years’ experience in the similar role in a four or five-star hotel or comparable industry, ability to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures, strong verbal and written communication skills along with being quality oriented with focus on details, high performance standards, able to multi-task & meet deadlines and technical proficiency in related software preferable.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a hygienic work area per hotel standards.
- Manage food stock and control costs in your section.
- Prepare daily mis-en-place and food production in various kitchen sections.
- Follow supervisor instructions to complete tasks.
- Ensure consistent quality and stay updated on new products and techniques.
- Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, requirements, and cost control.

Strong verbal and written communication skills along with being quality oriented with focus on details
