I am writing to you regarding a vacant Position as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist .

I have graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry Ain Shams University Cairo, Egypt 2008, After then I pursue the career of oral and maxillofacial surgery through training and doing MSc degree at Al Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt. The research goal in the university was bioengineering; the project was to investigate different materials with positive osteogenic effect. My group was to examine very famous drug in the treatment of cholesterol, which is simvastatin on the healing of bone defect. We made a clinical study by which the patients suffering from a cystic lesion at the anterior maxilla larger than 3cm in diameter was enucleated then grafted with simvastatin as a bone substitute. The healing was monitored by measuring radio -density by DIGORA software.
I have trained in many hospitals in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery, as shown in my C.V. and, I have gained suitable experience in oral surgery (pre-prosthetic, implants, removal of impacted teeth. , guided bone regeneration, ridge augmentation, taking biopsies, etc.,). On the other hand, advanced training in maxillofacial surgery is a core part of my career as , I am already working in a trauma center here in Egypt (AL-Bank Al AHly Hospital ,Cairo) our bread and butter is the management of facial trauma , beside orthognathic surgery , removal of malignant and benign lesions with reconstruction.

Regarding the academic experience , after finishing the master degree , I was appointed as part-time assistant lecturer in the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery , Faculty Of Oral and Dental Medicine Future University , Cairo , Egypt ,which gave me the opportunity to work in group of researchers and scientists carrying out both clinical and experimental studies . Beside this, my work included supervising undergraduate students and making demonstrations in English, in addition to the pre-clinical tutorials.

Besides my work in Egypt, I have been two times to Germany, First time in St Josef hospital , department of plastic surgery, Regensburg in 2012 for 1 month and 2nd time in Freiburg university 2014 for 3 months as a visitor doctor in the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery under supervision of Dr. Schmelzeisen which gave me opportunity to be included in different culture and to develop new skills.

I can speak English fluently since I had studied my primary and 2ry degree in an English language school and I finished my bachelor study of dentistry (B.D.S.) in Ain Shams university where all the materials and courses were taught in English and also my M.S.c. grade in Al Azhar University was in English too. Beside this, I am a member of the faculty of dentistry RCSI ( MFD RCSI ) where all the examinations and the study material were in English for sure.

In addition to all this I have special interest in inventing surgical instruments and I had previously a primary contract with STRYKER CO. and I still keep working on different ideas and currently, applying for patency registration at Egyptian patent office –Ministry of Scientific Research Egypt for one of those ideas .

I think working at reputable center will be a good opportunity for work in a master class level for a healthcare services where my knowledge will be applied and enriched too.
