I have more than 15 years of experience in the areas of environmental management as a regulator, consultant and HSE representative of major EPC projects. I have worked with Environmental Agency Abu Dhabi (a regulator) from 2014 to Dec-2018 for capacity building of their Permitting, Assessment, Inspection and Compliance team.
I have extensive experience in writing and reviewing environmental assessment studies including TOR, EIA, HSEIA, PER, EAP, CEMP and OEMP in almost all industrial sectors and development projects (includes infrastructure, tourism, oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical, mining, chemical, steel, aluminium, desalination and thermal power projects).
I conducted regulatory compliance inspections and hazard evaluations for various industries and development projects. I worked in developing environmental permit conditions, inspection checklists, and best management practices for various industrial sectors while working with EAD.
I have excellent experience in air and noise dispersion modeling (ISC-AERMOD, CALPUFF and CAUSTIC) and other environmental supporting software such as ALOHA, PHA works and ArcGIS. I am well experienced in emission estimation & engineering calculation for greenhouse gases (GHG) and other criteria pollutants for almost all sectors of the industries. Also, I am knowledgeable in hydrodynamic models for marine wastewater discharges.
I carried out several environmental audit, monitoring and sampling (stack emission, ambient air, noise, water quality in marine/freshwater/groundwater, soil, and solid wastes) for various industries and development project.
I have also worked as an adviser for soil contamination and remediation projects in Zauliyah oil field and Bid Bid in Oman. This task involved in preparation of standard operating procedure (SOP) for soil, surface and groundwater sampling, planning and collecting of sampling to determine the extent and level of contamination, followed by a feasibility study for remediation and disposal options.
