Having a minimum of seven years experience in a food preparation/service position in an upscale restaurants and cruise ship or convention banqueting service.

1. Ability to analyze and interpret documents such as recipes and manuals.
2. As an assistant waiter in a cruise ship, I have knowledge in providing general assistance to the waiting staff. Keeping track of inventory and restocking items like napkins, condiments, and utensils is also part of your role. Clearing tables efficiently and resetting them for the next guests will help maintain a smooth flow of service. Setting up tables, taking orders when needed, picking up food from the galley, serving food and drinks, as well as cleaning tables,  are all common tasks performed by assistant waiters.
