Diab Chidiac is a seasoned and top-performing executive within the real estate private equity and corporate finance disciplines. For over 25 years, Diab has been serving high net worth family offices, major real estate conglomerates, commercial banks and investment banks to invest in and manage real estate investments.

Currently, Diab runs his own real estate investment and finance advisory business out of Beirut providing turnkey advisory and management services to his clients. He is typically solicited to intervene in mostly large and complex private equity real estate transactions, where sophisticated investment strategies are needed. His commitment to his clients is to help them exceed their long-term objectives by structuring healthier investments and organizations.

Previously, Diab was head of real estate at SHUAA Capital Saudi Arabia, where he presided over the “SHUAA Saudi Hospitality Fund”, a Sharia compliant, Saudi-CMA authorized hotel development fund with total equity capital commitments of US$ 250 million. Diab was responsible for the successful closing on the Fund and on its underlying transactions and for its management.

Before SHUAA, Diab presided over the Lebanon Real Estate Development Fund at the Middle East Capital Group, where he has successfully developed and exited several residential properties, which have all been highly rewarding.

Diab had previously assumed the role of CFO/CIO at Mouawad Investment Group (Holding), a real estate Lebanese conglomerate, and later at Fidelity Assurance, where his main focus was to re-structure and manage a portfolio of real estate and other fixed income financial assets, providing strategic leadership and overall corporate direction to all aspects of the investment and finance functions of both companies.

Before engaging in the real estate sector, Diab worked in the banking industry for more than 7 years. He also taught Mathematical Economics and International Political Economy at the American University of Beirut. He holds a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut and a Master’s degree in International Political Economy from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
