I am a passionate educator who believes that every child has the absolute right to the highest quality of education in a safe and enriching environment. Learning is instinctive, as teachers we need to foster a child’s natural curiosity by facilitating learning through enriching and creative experiences. The very ethos of teaching is to be a leader of learning. I strive to showcase my passion for teaching through my practice, as a role model to my students with the aim to inspire and motivate. I value a strong school community, where every member of staff has a sense of purpose, where the students feel a sense of belonging and where parents play an integral part in their child’s education. Building strong, positive relationships is essential for ensuring students success. Positive Education is crucial, and for students to flourish they must be provided with the opportunities to develop life-long skills. I firmly believe in promoting student well-being and their holistic development to foster independent, resilient, happy and well-rounded global citizens. I recognise that to deliver the best outcomes for our students we must set high expectations and be committed to working collaboratively to achieve them.
