Safety Officer:
1. Ensure the application and implementation of local authorities and the contractors HSE plan in the execution of site work.
2. Develop safety culture in project management.
3. Conduct HSE inspection on a regular basis to ensure a safe working practices are in operation.
4. Conducting HSE safety induction to new operatives regarding site regulations and safe system of work.
5. Ensuring compliance with the employers project HSE requirements and supervision of safety related activities on site.
6. Ensuring strict adherence to permit to work procedure.
7. Assisting in the HSE training of employees to promote awareness of incident prevention and damage control.
8. Ensuring that the information is correct and the contractors HSE plan in the execution of site work.
9. Administering of Gist Aid to injured personnel.
10. Provision of Daily Observation Reports, Incident/accident reports, Near miss reports, and other HSE related report.
