*Has a THIRD OFFICER License,know how to navigate the ship,helms the ship,docking and undocking.
*Know how to operate the Radar and Ecdis, paper chart etc.
*Able to do the duties of Third Officer such as: checking of (LSA)life saving apparatus,lifeboat,rescueboat,liferaft and all safety equiptments etc.
*Willing to learn
