I am working as a Project Manager, and I was reporting to the Projects Director, my responsibilities included:
 Responsible for handling joinery works such as all types of wooden panelling work, doors, wardrobe works, wooden cabinets, counters work, wooden ceiling and mashrabiya works etc.
 Accountable for handling all types of gypsum work such as ceiling work, partitions work
 Efficiently handling all types of flooring work such as parquet flooring, vinyl floors and epoxy floors, resin flooring, carpet tiles work and paint work, glazing work and re-constitute top (Corian Top) work
 Effectively handling fabric and upholstery work, curtain work and signage work etc.
 Coordinating with consultants and clients to kick off site to start project construction, making all necessary arrangement of building approval procurement of material, design, drawing, and sample approval
 Working closely with the project planning engineer regarding construction programs and monthly revenues
 Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and general workforce involved in the project
 Effectively managing design teams in the development of design solutions to meet the client’s expectations
 Efficiently managing on-site construction activities to ensure completion of the project within the time and cost and quality parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output
 Attending all site weekly meetings to develop action plan against the points discussed
 Accurately preparing the project schedule to keep track of each activity ensuring that all assigned work is completed within stipulated time
 Ascertaining the suitable deployment of material, manpower and procurement
 Improving efficiency of the project by providing necessary recommendations in various stages of implementation
 Supervising all construction activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction and coordination of site management activities
 Liaising with company or Project Purchasing department to ensure that purchase orders adequately define the specified requirements
 Accountable for providing data with respect to variation orders and site instructions
 Accurately preparing monthly progressive invoices for client and certifications for all sub-contractor’s invoices involved in the project

 Responsible for day to day management of site including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of all subcontractors involved in project.
 Effectively conducted inspection to ensure the work is carried out in the site is as per approved drawings
 Collaborated with the Project Quantity Surveyor ascertaining the measurement and valuation is in accordance with specified requirements
 Efficiently handled the team with proper planning and safety and risk management methods
 Followed consultant’s procedure’s for conducting site inspection request, material inspections, material submittals and approvals, NCR’s, RFI’s and variation approvals
 Systematically planned and organized resources in advance for the assigned site by daily preparing labor schedule, developing status reports and resource planning
 Effectively conducted regular quality control checks to ensure work done at site is as per quality specifications
 Accountable for coordinating activities, resources, equipment and information
 Responsible for setting out the works in accordance with the drawings and specification
 Conducted regular checking of plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculation
 Regularly conducted inspection of materials and work in progress for compliance with the specified requirements
 Responsible for observance of safety requirements
