Logistics Coordinator – KONE Bahrain & Qatar - Metro Rail & Lusail Light Rail Project (2016-18)
Bahrain – Successfully planned set up and secured contract for 3/4PL operations that included – Shipping Air and ocean Freight local customs Transportation and warehousing for the ongoing project of KONE for Bahrain Intl airport.

Qatar - KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, had won an order April 27, 2016 to supply elevators and escalators for the Qatar Rail Project in Doha. The contract included the delivery of over 500 items of equipment for Doha Metro's Red Line South and Gold Line. The Doha Metro project is a planned rapid transit system in Qatar's capital city. Comprised of 4 lines and includes 100 stations. spanning a length of 215 km. It will be an integral component of the larger Qatar Rail network, which will include a long-distance rail for passengers and freight, linking Qatar to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and Lusail City's local Light Rail Transit (LRT).
As Logistics Coordinator the core responsibility included to be single point of contact between KONE Factory and Metro team. Responsible for planning of logistics and Supply-Chain Operations that included sourcing of freight forwarder, local transportation and fleet management, Securing freight cost and contract with reliable freight forwarder planning of loading and shipping of equipment within project deadline. Site logistics management, Local Customs Clearance and transportation and setting up of Site Warehouse facility and operations management.

Responsible for sourcing, purchase & planning of international shipments both air ocean and land freight in coordination with suppliers for the group companies that included – General cargo( Furniture sanitary ware Kitchen, MEP material), & FMCG products for sister concern GULFMED for food division, Identify and develop key suppliers and vendors, Review all contractual terms and agreements for major key vendors for Qatar. Customs Clearance, LC Shipment (Letter of Credit), Local Transportation and warehouse operations included delivery fleets

Responsible for handling supply-chain operations for clients in various sectors FMCG, Oil and gas, General cargo and Pharma logistics operations and quoting price for air/ sea and land shipment.
