I am a Civil Engineer with 34 years of dedicated experience in Contracts, Commercial, Procurement, Tendering & Quantity Surveying. I worked in all the levels- right from the entry level to the managerial level and I myself consider as qualified for the position.
Currently working with a Developer and providing freelance consultancy in Contracts, Commercial, Procurement, Tendering & Quantity Surveying. Also extending my service to the small and medium Contractors & Subcontractors on these portfolios.
I worked with the Construction giants like Dutco Balfour Beatty as a Managing QS / Sr. Project QS for the prestigious MERAAS project named Marsa Al Seef having a contract value of circa 1.80b, Khansaheb Interserve Civil Engineering, Arabtec, Ssangyong, etc. in different roles prior to the current assignment having a total contract value worth multi millions of Dirhams, both Onshore and Offshore.
Early procurement of subcontractors and materials with much higher margin than budgeted by utilizing my negotiation skill, proper contract and subcontract administration, Value Engineering, strict implementation of Cost Control measures, timely notification and management of Variations & Claims, final account of the project together with the project handing over, realistic Cost Value Reconciliation and advising the Company of the commercial position, KPIs, Development Plan, Spatial Plan, etc. are my main milestone achievements within the tenure.
