Document Controller
DOCUMENT CONTROLLER
Document controller is responsible for managing all commercial and technical documents for the company. Providing system reports, distributing documents, and ensuring accuracy of all documentation are all essential functions of a document controller. Ensuring regulatory procedures and changes are followed in an essential part of the job junctions
Duties and Responsibilities of Document Controller
• To coordinate all the activities related to the Document Control procedures in the organization.
• To input the document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
• Prepare the site documents, and follow up of all the site needs. Eg- Shop floor Drawing, Material Request, Equipment Request etc.
• To be initiative in generating various document control reports as required.
• Ensure about the controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable
• Maintain updated records of all documents and drawings and their distributions clearly.
• The documents should be carefully maintained without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability.
• Maintain the files properly and in a uniform manner.
• Ability to perform fluency level in Ms Office applications.
• To make calls with the company’s clients regarding clarification of documents.
• Provide system reports as requested by the executive staffs in the office.
• Control documentation produced internally and externally.
• Ensure that all documentation, drawings and specifications are up to date and at the correct revision.
• Coordinate with the staffs and executives; provide information in regardance with the documents as they needed.
• Provide a high standard of service across the company.
• Assist in project transition to operations and archiving activities.
