• Participate in concept structural design drawings, models and reports.
• Prepare and create calculation of vertical and lateral loads according to related codes.
• Design and review of structural members according to related codes.
• Provide and review structural design drawings.
• Review of structural shop drawings.
• Replying for RFI from contractor during building construction.
• Coordinate with other disciplines through all Project stage.
• Create a calculation note report for design criteria for project.
• Attend meetings with suppliers, authorities (e.g. Dubai Municipality), and clients for discussion of engineering related project aspects.
• Lead and provide technical and professional guidance to drafters, and lower-level engineers for preparation of designs, analytical models, and drawings.
• Review sub-contractors and suppliers’ shop drawings and coordinate to receive the final drawings and documents.
• Support site engineering construction team for design problem that may arise during construction period.

• Prepares steel estimates, general arrangement drawings, shop (fabrication) drawings, etc.
• Prepares structural designs and calculations.
• Maintains records of design calculations.
• Liaises with clients and consultants with regards to design of steel structures
• Coordinates with drafting and sales/logistics/projects departments to ensure smooth flow of projects.
• Reports to the Engineering manager and accomplishes tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
• Prepares and checks bar bending schedule along with the necessary structural shop drawings
• Prepares Architectural Shop drawings and other drawings required at site
• Coordinates with the Project Engineer or Site Engineer for the implementation of drawings
• Conducts site checking and inspection with respect to site execution
• Liaises with the consultant with regards to the approval of shop drawings
• Coordinates with the subcontractors for all structural concerns
• Checks subcontractor payment certificates and variations
• Assists the Project Manager with the structural concerns of the project
• Reports to the Engineering Manager
• Attends to tasks given by the Engineering Manager

• Prepares Structural drawings and Design Calculations for steel and Reinforced Concrete Structures.
• Attends meetings with clients and architects to discuss the projects being handled.
• Coordinates with site engineers, foramens, suppliers and alike to ensure the smooth flow of the project.
• Prepares preliminary structural layouts from architectural plans received.
• Assists senior structural engineer in finalizing the calculations, drawings, and submittals.
• Reports to the immediate superior and accomplishes tasks given.

• Checks completeness of architectural plans and specifications.
• Checks contractor’s compliance to approved plans and specifications.
• Coordinates with the project architect and structural consultant regarding RFI’s, submittals and shop drawings.
• Checks completeness of documents and validate physical accomplishment on contractor’s progress billings.
• Checks completeness of documents on contractor’s change order claims.
• Maintains and compiles test results.
• Conduct project inspection.
• Monitors the contractor’s adherence to their safety, sanitation and security program.
• Attends weekly meetings.
• Assists the construction manager in the preparation of the minuets of the meetings.
• Assists in the preparation of the monthly progress report to the owner.
• Assists in other assignments that may be assigned by the management related to operations department.
