I wish to apprise that I am a multidiciplinary individual with qualifications in Engineering, Management a Financial Analysis and Costing and with experience of more that 31 years in human resources planning, maintenance and development.
I started my career in 1987 with Manpower Planning in Air India and then with the career progression took charge of all the functions of Human Resources department. During this period I was given additional charge of Chief of Personnel from 2005 for the low cost carrier Air India Express upto Oct 2012. After that I was placed as Chief of Personnel for the ground handling subsidiary Air India Air Transport Services which ws newly formed in February 2013. I have formulated the entire employee policies for the Fixed Term Contract staff that we recruit in this company for the different skill sets. This subsidiary of Air India has more than 10,000 employees spread over more than 70 airports.
With the above qualifications and experience I have the necessary skills to look at all aspects of various issues and find the most optimal solutions for the same.
At present, I have taken Voluntary early Retirement from Air India, so as to engage in something more challenging and outside the gamut of a Government owned company.
